Ciranda do Dharma with Lama Norbu
For kids (over 8 years-old) and teenagers

Ciranda do Dharma was originally created by a request from Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche that the children of the sangha be educated in dharma principles. Rinpoche felt very strongly that the values of love and compassion for all beings could be taught to even the youngest children through the medium of storytelling.
Since its inception in 2002, this method of demonstrating virtuous qualities through stories and group activities was the main focus of the monthly Ciranda do Dharma.
However, now that many of the children in the sangha are in their early teens, and also due to their own requests for more direct teachings, the plan is to shift the focus to a more thematic and educational approach that they can directly relate to.
Therefore, the plan is to have a short Dharma teaching in the morning, along with questions and answers and meditation practice, and activities in the afternoon, such as making tormas, learning the instruments used in puja, and Tibetan art.
